Terms of service

Last updated: 14 August 2026

What this service is

This is documentation software. It formats and stores prescriptions that you author, and renders them as printable documents. It is not a clinical decision support system and it is not a medical device.

Who may use it

  • Registered medical practitioners and other clinicians who are legally permitted to prescribe in their jurisdiction.
  • Clinics and organizations acting for such clinicians.
  • Staff acting under the supervision of a prescriber, where the account is configured for it.

Your responsibilities

By using the service you confirm that:

  • You hold a valid licence or registration to prescribe, and the registration details you enter are accurate and current.
  • You are responsible for all clinical content — every medicine, dose, frequency, route and duration on every prescription you issue.
  • You will comply with the prescribing, record-keeping and controlled-substance rules that apply where you practise.
  • You have the lawful basis you need to enter your patients’ information.
  • You will keep your account credentials secure and will not share a login.

What you may not do

  • Use the service without a valid licence to prescribe.
  • Create prescriptions in another clinician’s name or misrepresent your registration.
  • Attempt to access another account’s patients, prescriptions or medicine library.
  • Circumvent usage limits or entitlement checks.
  • Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Because prescriptions are exported as PDFs you retain, an outage does not put your existing records out of reach.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for clinical decisions, for prescribing errors, or for consequences arising from the content of prescriptions you author.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account for breach of these terms, for suspected fraud, or where we are legally required to. Where a suspension is not urgent we will give notice and an opportunity to export your data.
